7th Grade Trip to The Marine Mammal Center

Yesterday, on Wednesday, October 19th, the 7th grade went on a field trip to the Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito, California. We are very sorry to the 6th graders that were alone during the A.C. Rotation. We did, though, learn a lot. The Marine Mammal Center has an amazing way of figuring out how the animal is sick and rescuing them. They have multiple teams of people who all work to keep these animals safe. Visit their website at https://www.marinemammalcenter.org/ . If we had more donors, we could become as great as this organization and DO something for the world of great purpose. A sea lion had recently died at the center from a type of cancer, so they let us see them dissect it. Even though this is the cycle of life, Braxton said, “I feel bad for that sea lion, and I wish we could do something to stop this kind of thing.” Most causes of death for a sea lion are human-caused, because of runoff and other things. Please consider donating to 115pet's Informal Zoo, and also the Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito.
